If you click to enlarge you can spot our camp we had while we conducted field trips into the Serengeti. This was of Ikorongo. The wavy tree line in the middle of the image is the Gremeti river famous for its documentaries of crocodiles attacking migrating Gnus/Wilderbeest swimming over the flooded waterway. Most evenings here we had Lions,Elephants and Hyenas circling our camp which kept me on my toes.

The Serengeti

So just over 2 years ago I had the privilege of working in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania teaching wilderness and guiding skills to rangers posted in the Gremeti, Ikorongo, Selous & Ngorongoro. I spent some memorable times camped out in the bush with Lions,Elephants,Hyenas daily around our camp, so I thought I might change things for a month on fishingblogdom and show you some of the better images I took while based there.

To get the ball rolling here is a pic of the Male Agama lizard
